風と雨 Matsuri
A celebration of the natural phenomena of life in a supernatural way. 風と雨(Kaze to Ame): “Wind and Rain” in Japanese; fleeting experiences that shape our lives, present in the moment, for a day, for weeks, and then gone in an instant. Japanese Shintoism posits that there is Spirit in all things. Matsuri allows for the celebration of the interconnectedness of things both visible and invisible. Shot on 35mm film, edited digitally.
